About Our District
Every 10 years, the Arizona Independent Redistricting Commission (IRC) redraws and adopts new legislative district maps for Arizona.
- Legislative District 26 is home to over 230k people with over 64 languages spoken.
EDUCATION:
- Our district includes Alhambra Elementary School District (AESD), Isaac School District #5, Phoenix Elementary School District #1, and the Washington Elementary School District (WESD).
- We are home to several Phoenix Union High School District (PXU) schools including Alhambra, Bostrom, Carl Hayden, Desiderata, Linda Abril, and Phoenix Digital Academy.
- We are also home to the Glendale Union High School District, including Cortez and Washington High School.
- Our district includes several private schools ranging from elementary to college: St. Matthew School, Saints Simon and Jude Cathedral School, Bourgade Catholic High School, and Grand Canyon University.
